Thermoforming / Vacuum Forming
New! Download Quick Start Vacuum Forming Demo (Choose Format PC / MAC)
Seawolf Design, Inc. offers two main types of thermoforming machines; moving sheet or platen. The moving sheet feature is when the heated sheet is lowered to the platen for forming a desired part. In contrast, moving platen utilizes a scissor jack or screw lift to raise the platen to the heated sheet. Your production needs will determine which type of thermoforming machine you'll need. Note, ceiling mounted or plain heaters are available. To view a demonstration of machine options Click Here or how our double vacuum former works Click Here.
All of our machines are constructed from durable steel and are assembled by hand in our facility. Our models are available in manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic operation in single or dual sided configurations. It is standard that our machines use ceramic infrared panels and heating zones are controlled by percentage timers.

Modular Design
Our innovative design permits the expansion of the heating surface and the changing from single to dual sided or multi-stationed production. Modular design allows for these configurations and various floor or ceiling mount options. This allows you to optimize quick part turn over as your company grows. Keep in mind that our heating surfaces are controlled by zones allowing for simultaneous pulling of diverse parts. To view a demonstration of the modular heating surface Click Here. |
